What you will do
- Own the end-to-end bank product, managing deposits, loan originations, compliance, and operations.
- Launch and scale the bank's deposit offering from initial launch to a multi-billion-dollar base.
- Operationalize the de novo bank build, ensuring regulatory readiness, vendor integration, and process maturity.
- Optimize loan originations through the bank entity, focusing on unit economics and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and executives to build federal and state regulatory standards into the product.
- Define data flows and integration points between the bank and Affirm's consumer ecosystem.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience leading complex, ambiguous initiatives.
- Proven experience in banking, deposits, or lending, including knowledge of loan origination mechanics.
- Must be based in Canada
- Strong technical fluency in system design, API architecture, and core banking platform integrations.
- Demonstrated ability to drive alignment across Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and executive leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with de novo bank launches or early-stage bank buildouts.
- Experience defining and scaling deposit products like high-yield savings accounts or CDs.
- Familiarity with BNPL, neobanking, or platform products.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to accelerate quality and speed.
