Salary: $100,000 - $117,000 USD

What you will do

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers regarding HR policies and workplace concerns.
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues to ensure fair and consistent policy application.
  • Drive initiatives focused on enhancing employee engagement and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Administer benefits enrollment and partner with finance to optimize compensation offerings.
  • Facilitate professional development programs and track mandatory compliance training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4–7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in generalist or HRBP roles.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US and verify identity via E-Verify.
  • HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP.
  • Strong knowledge of California employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, and compensation benchmarking tools.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in start-ups or the aerospace industry.
  • Experience with DCMA or DoD contractors.
