TL;DR

Junior IT Engineer (NOC) (System Engineering): Monitoring and maintaining the performance, security, and technical status of the global network and systems with an accent on proactive issue detection and resolution. Focus on managing technical incidents via phone and email, collaborating with R&D teams, and ensuring 24/7 service stability.

Location: Must live within travel distance of Breda, Netherlands, and be willing to work onsite

Salary: €2,750 - €3,500

What you will do

  • Monitor the performance, security, and technical status of the network, systems, and traffic 24/7.
  • Proactively detect and solve technical issues to ensure optimal service levels for clients.
  • Manage incidents from problem identification to complete solution via telephone and email.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams, R&D departments, and stakeholders.
  • Operate within a 10-day rotation shift scheme (morning, mid-day, and night shifts).

Requirements

  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Ability to work onsite in Breda (must live within commuting distance).
  • Comfortable working a 10-day rotating shift schedule.
  • Ability to manage and escalate issues without possessing all immediate knowledge.
  • Trustworthy and responsible mindset for shift handovers.
  • Curiosity and a strong problem-solving approach.

Nice to have

  • Ability to work with databases using SQL.
