What you will do

• Design and implement OT network solutions for greenfield and brownfield production sites.
• Ensure secure network segmentation and IT/OT separation for critical energy infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot live network connectivity issues from initial analysis to full resolution.
• Manage OT network protocols including IEC 60870-5-104, OPC-UA, and Modbus.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and integrators to maintain system reliability.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support mission-critical operations.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Netherlands.
• Fluent English required.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar network engineering role.
• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or a related field.
• Solid expertise in network segmentation, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN.
• Hands-on experience with OT environments, SCADA, and PLC systems.
• Understanding of security frameworks like ISO 27001 and IEC 62443.
