What you will do

  • Manage the export control program, including ECCN product classification and denied party screening for international shipments.
  • Oversee all import and export activities, ensuring accuracy of HTS, customs valuation, country of origin declarations, and Incoterms.
  • Develop and implement trade compliance training programs and customs valuation policies for subscription-based hardware models.
  • Lead negotiations with logistics partners to create cost-saving programs and scalable solutions for market expansion in Americas and APAC.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for global trade compliance, sanctions regulations, and liaison between Sales, Clients, and 3PL partners.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Legal teams to automate logistics and trade compliance processes through new software implementations.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in trade compliance or logistics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of international trade laws, U.S. Customs regulations, and export controls (EAR, ITAR).
  • Hands-on experience managing ECCN/HTS classification, AES filing, and documentation workflows.
  • Proven track record of managing broker relationships and resolving customs delays.
  • Must be based in or able to work from Santa Clara, CA.
