Salary: $245,000 - $275,000

What you will do

• Lead and manage the Applied AI team, overseeing personnel, technical growth, and maintaining a healthy working environment.
• Develop and deploy AI features using LLMs, agents, and RAG within the hirify.global platform to solve real customer problems.
• Drive AI architectural direction and execute the roadmap in coordination with Product and Technical leadership.
• Establish quality standards and analytical rigor to ensure AI features are controllable and trustworthy.
• Recruit, manage, and retain extraordinary AI Engineers and Applied Scientists.
• Maintain hands-on technical capacity through PR reviews and architectural decision-making.

Requirements

• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area for hybrid work.
• Experience working at an early-stage, product-based startup (less than 50 people).
• Proven track record of building production software with LLMs-in-the-loop.
• Experience developing B2B software for enterprise customers or within regulated industries.
• Strong background as an architect with the ability to design robust and scalable systems.
• Experience mentoring, growing, and managing technical employees.
