Software Engineer (AI Agents): Designing and building agentic systems that power creative workflows for short-form video with an accent on agent architectures and state-of-the-art model integration. Focus on building agents that execute creative actions, optimizing context engineering (RAG), and developing evaluation frameworks for production.

Location: Must be in-person at the NYC HQ (Union Square)

Compensation: $175K – $275K + Equity

What you will do

• Build and ship end-to-end agentic systems that improve creative workflows, balancing quality and reliability.
• Design agent architectures for context gathering, planning, and tool selection at scale.
• Integrate state-of-the-art internal and external models to power new agent experiences.
• Measure and improve agent quality in production using experimentation and evaluation frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional industry experience.
• Proven track record of designing and developing ML systems or agentic pipelines in production.
• Deep experience with context engineering, RAG systems, and token optimization.
• Experience building evaluation systems and agentic infrastructure.
• Ability to operate effectively in an extremely fast-paced environment and deliver projects end-to-end.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-agent architectures.
• Experience fine-tuning LLMs for specific use cases.
• Background as a startup founder or an early engineer at one.
