TL;DR

Benefits Analyst (HR Operations): Administering medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits across multiple vendors with an accent on global enrollment and compliance. Focus on managing end-to-end leave administration, Workday configuration, and payroll reconciliation.

Location: Must live within commuting distance of New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Seattle hubs

Salary: $45 – $53 per hour

What you will do

  • Administer medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits across 15+ vendors for US and international employees.
  • Manage global new hire enrollments and ensure compliance with 5500 filings, audits, and required notices.
  • Oversee end-to-end leave administration (FMLA, parental, state-specific, and international) and coordinate top-up pay with Payroll.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Workday benefits configurations in partnership with the People Systems team.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations related to leave, deductions, and fringe benefits.
  • Provide high-quality support for employee benefits and leave inquiries and review vendor invoices for accuracy.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in employee benefits administration.
  • Experience managing complex multi-state or international leave programs.
  • Strong working knowledge of US benefits compliance (FMLA, ERISA, ACA).
  • Hands-on experience with Workday.
  • Ability to reconcile payroll deductions, invoices, and enrollment files.
