TL;DR

Director, People Operations & Systems (HRIS/People Ops): Building and leading global people operations infrastructure to scale from 1,000 to 1,500+ employees with an accent on HRIS strategy, employee lifecycle administration, and global compliance. Focus on designing scalable systems in Workday, developing advanced people analytics using SQL, and implementing a shared services model for operational excellence.

Location: Must live within commuting distance of San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, or Los Angeles hubs

Salary: $210,000 – $280,000 + Equity

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end global employee lifecycle operations, including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
  • Lead People systems strategy and implementation, specifically focusing on Workday and equity platforms.
  • Build and scale the People Help Desk to improve employee self-service and response times.
  • Deliver people analytics and insights for quarterly business reviews, attrition analysis, and headcount planning.
  • Design scalable processes and compliance checkpoints to support rapid international expansion.
  • Build, hire, and develop a high-performing People Operations and Analytics team.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive People Operations or HRIS experience at high-growth tech companies.
  • Expert-level experience with Workday across HCM, Compensation, Payroll, and Time Tracking modules.
  • Strong analytical skills including proficiency in SQL and dashboards (Looker/Tableau).
  • Experience managing international operations and employment law across multiple countries.
  • Proven track record of scaling operations through hypergrowth and ideally pre-IPO phases.
  • Must be based in the US near specified hubs (SF, NYC, Seattle, or LA).
