Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 a year

What you will do

• Design, implement, and support payment services across the full software development lifecycle.
• Maintain and enhance Card Attributes, Webhooks, and Event Pipelines.
• Build high-throughput, fault-tolerant services within the hirify.global platform.
• Ensure high code quality through rigorous testing, automation, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and reliability.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Framework (Boot, Security).
• Strong practical experience with Kafka (MSK) and building event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency with AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and Python.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Argo) and GitOps.
• Expertise in observability solutions using Open Telemetry, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required; the company does not provide visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the payment processing ecosystem (PCI DSS, tokenization, card networks, processors).
