Location: Must be based in Austin, TX (Hybrid: 3+ days in office required)

Salary: $131,600 – $210,300 USD per year

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable backend services, APIs, and platform components for Intelligent Commerce products.
• Build cloud-native applications using modern microservices architectures.
• Translate business and product requirements into robust technical implementations.
• Optimize system reliability, observability, and operational excellence.
• Mentor junior engineers and uphold engineering best practices through code reviews.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building scalable distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Java and/or Python.
• Experience with microservices, REST APIs, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of cloud-native application development.
• Ability to work from the Austin, TX office at least 3 days a week.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with React or Angular.
• Exposure to AI-enabled systems, intelligent platforms, or large-scale commerce experiences.
