What you will do
- Lead and mentor developing engineers to foster growth and a healthy team culture.
- Manage complex projects from design to delivery, navigating ambiguity and driving alignment.
- Architect and build robust, scalable applications using Python, Django, and modern frontend technologies.
- Develop testable code across full-stack applications involving PostgreSQL and Vue/React.
- Work with large data sets and pipelines, including data cleaning, analysis, and processing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define requirements and improve existing system architecture.
Requirements
- 7+ years of work experience in Python or a similar programming language.
- Expertise in Django or a similar popular Python web framework.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database optimization for complex problems.
- Solid experience with JavaScript and modern frameworks like Vue or React.
- Proven track record of mentoring other engineers and leading complex technical projects.
- Must be based in the United States and work according to US business hours.
Nice to have
- Experience in the healthcare domain and understanding of healthcare pricing models.
- AI/ML experience, specifically with RAG and Agentic Workflows.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Pandas and NumPy.
- DevOps experience with infrastructure as code, monitoring systems, and deployment pipelines.
