What you will do

• Lead and mentor developing engineers to foster growth and a healthy team culture.
• Manage complex projects from design to delivery, navigating ambiguity and driving alignment.
• Architect and build robust, scalable applications using Python, Django, and modern frontend technologies.
• Develop testable code across full-stack applications involving PostgreSQL and Vue/React.
• Work with large data sets and pipelines, including data cleaning, analysis, and processing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define requirements and improve existing system architecture.

Requirements

• 7+ years of work experience in Python or a similar programming language.
• Expertise in Django or a similar popular Python web framework.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database optimization for complex problems.
• Solid experience with JavaScript and modern frameworks like Vue or React.
• Proven track record of mentoring other engineers and leading complex technical projects.
• Must be based in the United States and work according to US business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience in the healthcare domain and understanding of healthcare pricing models.
• AI/ML experience, specifically with RAG and Agentic Workflows.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Pandas and NumPy.
• DevOps experience with infrastructure as code, monitoring systems, and deployment pipelines.
