Location: Hybrid (US). Engineering sites in Orange County (HQ), Denver, Seattle, and San Francisco.
Salary: $165,000 – $220,000 + Equity

What you will do
- Own production software for the web app and backend systems from design to delivery.
- Implement ML and AI integrations, including the development of a custom agent harness.
- Collaborate with Product and Design to build new features and optimize workflows.
- Lead architectural decisions and maintain high standards for clean, scalable code.
- Influence the technical roadmap and drive rigorous code reviews.
- Develop data pipelines and enhance user experiences for enterprise compensation teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience shipping production software on a team.
- Deep proficiency in at least one modern web language/framework and fullstack fluency.
- Proven track record of end-to-end ownership of complex features.
- Experience leading technical trade-offs and architectural decisions.
- Ability to drive projects autonomously through ambiguity from scoping to delivery.
- Experience mentoring other engineers and raising the bar through code review.

- Experience at early-stage or high-growth startups.
- Familiarity with compensation, HR tech, or enterprise SaaS.
- Experience with data-driven products or complex user workflows.
- Interest or experience in AI systems or ML infrastructure.
