Partner Manager, OpenAI for Government (AI)

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of strategic partners, including AWS and other high-priority AI ecosystem relationships.
• Coordinate joint planning, governance, and cross-functional execution across internal and external teams.
• Drive commercial outcomes through co-sell motions and opportunity coordination.
• Track partnership performance, milestones, dependencies, and risks across multiple workstreams.
• Collaborate with GTM, product, legal, security, and policy teams to ensure partner success.
• Develop internal reporting on partner health and strategic priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Public Policy, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8–12+ years of experience in business development, program management, or strategic operations.
• Experience managing large, complex external relationships with commercial or technical scope.
• Strong program management skills, including operating cadence design and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and engage with senior executive leadership.
• Experience with cloud, AI, enterprise software, or platform partnerships.

Nice to have

• Experience at a major cloud provider.
• Familiarity with AI/ML, data platforms, cybersecurity, or defense systems.
• Prior experience in both technology companies and government-facing organizations.
• Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
• Engineering degree or prior technical experience.
