Senior Customer Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, design bespoke architectures, and deliver product demonstrations and Proofs of Concept across security, networking, and developer platforms.
• Lead or oversee technical onboarding and implementation as the primary executive and engineering contact for customers.
• Monitor customer health scores and telemetry, resolve integration bottlenecks, and drive rapid time-to-value and platform adoption.
• Carry a variable quota, support new business acquisition and account growth, and identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
• Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews and translate platform capabilities into return on investment for C-level executives.
• Use AI agents and internal platforms to automate RFP responses, security questionnaires, sandbox provisioning, and basic telemetry monitoring.

Requirements

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
• Broad expertise in web security, networking, routing, DNS, DDoS mitigation, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
• Experience in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment, with knowledge of SaaS metrics, business value translation, and enterprise sales cycles.
• Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to connect technical implementation details with C-suite strategy.
• Applicants must be available in Alberta, Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global Workers AI, AI Gateway, or Vectorize.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages for integration scripts, API connectors, and edge functions.
