TL;DR
Solutions Engineer III (Cybersecurity): Supporting enterprise sales of application delivery and cybersecurity solutions for major North American service providers with an accent on technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and proof of concepts. Focus on translating customer challenges into F5 solutions, validating technical decisions, and working across cloud, networking, microservices, and DevOps environments.
Location: Remote role based in Toronto, Canada

What you will do
- Articulate product strategy, positioning, and value propositions against customer business objectives.
- Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, demonstrations, whiteboarding, and proofs of concept.
- Mentor sales teams on solutions and business drivers.
- Assess opportunities, map customer organizations, and identify technical decision-makers.
- Drive technical validation, support, and sponsorship throughout the sales process with account managers.
- Collaborate with technical and sales resources to deliver customer support and share best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience required.
- Experience as a Sales Engineer and with enterprise customers in financial services.
- Experience with traffic management and load-balancing technologies such as , Citrix, Riverbed, or Kemp.
- Knowledge of HTTP, web servers, web applications, TCP/IP, WebSocket, SPDY/HTTP2, SSL, SMTP, POP, and DNS.
- Skills in Linux/UNIX systems, networking technologies, and Internet security products and services.
- Relevant BS/BA degree in computer science, electrical engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with GCP, AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- API development or management experience.
- Experience in a DevOps environment.
- Knowledge of intelligent load balancing, application acceleration, request routing, dynamic content caching, SSL/compression offload, and web serving.
