What you will do

• Build internal financial systems, including sub-ledgers, reconciliation tools, and close automation.
• Design and build AI-powered tools that make financial professionals faster.
• Work directly with hirify.global's finance team to translate their pain into software.
• Lead engineers through prototypes, focusing on working code rather than documentation.
• Own outcomes across the Financial Systems portfolio, identifying and solving the most impactful problems.

Requirements

• At least 5 years in a product-building role.
• Deep financial domain expertise in accounting, FP&A, treasury, audit, or financial operations.
• Fluent with AI-native dev tools and experience shipping features using LLMs.
• Strong product judgment and first-principles thinking at the intersection of financial data, complex systems, and user workflows.
• Ability to translate between technical and finance audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Intacct, Workday) or accounting infrastructure.
• Background in Big 4 accounting, management consulting, or financial operations.
• Experience in high-growth startups, especially driving 0-to-1 products.
