What you will do
- Lead strategic and operational business planning with distribution partners across the region.
- Drive distribution rebate performance and ensure regular business reviews with clear KPI tracking.
- Represent the company at partner events and deliver presentations to strengthen market positioning.
- Act as a cross-functional liaison between sales, marketing, support, and operations to ensure seamless partner engagement.
- Lead partner recruitment, enablement, and pipeline forecasting efforts.
- Manage team performance through 1:1 coaching, formal biannual reviews, and proactive talent development.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in channel business within the cybersecurity or IT software sector.
- Proven track record of managing distribution and partner ecosystems specifically within the Japanese market.
- Business level proficiency in both Japanese and English (written and spoken).
- Deep understanding of regional market dynamics and go-to-market strategy execution.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at executive levels.
- Must have legal authorization to work in Japan.
