TL;DR

Engineering Manager (Growth): Leading technical direction and execution strategy for customer acquisition systems with an accent on SEO, paid marketing, and user incentives. Location: Must be based in Menlo Park, CA with 4 days per week in-office attendance required.

Salary: $180,000 – $270,000 USD (Base pay range depending on location)

What you will do

  • Partner with Product Managers to define and prioritize a growth-focused engineering roadmap.
  • Lead the design and delivery of scalable systems on AWS to support SEO and marketing initiatives.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of engineers through clear goal setting and career planning.
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Marketing teams to optimize acquisition performance and funded accounts.
  • Balance hands-on technical leadership with operational execution and team culture building.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 2–3+ years of direct people management experience.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Menlo Park, CA 4 days per week.
  • Experience building and operating distributed systems using AWS or cloud infrastructure.
  • Background in growth experimentation, paid marketing optimization, or SEO platforms.
  • Ability to partner effectively with Product and Data teams to meet business objectives.
