Salary: $294,000–$345,000 USD

• Define and evolve the technical and organizational strategy for the Trading business unit.
• Build and lead high-performing engineering teams, hiring and developing exceptional managers and technical leads.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, Operations, Legal, and Compliance to deliver user-first financial products.
• Mentor engineers and managers through actionable feedback and career development programs.
• Create and improve processes for project execution, organizational scalability, and team health.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in engineering leadership, including managing managers and large organizations of 50+ engineers.
• Demonstrated success in scaling engineering organizations and launching business-critical systems.
• Strong technical foundation with experience in distributed systems and architecture.
• Proven ability to evaluate and grow leadership talent.
• Willingness to commit to an in-office presence at least 4 days per week in Menlo Park or New York.

Nice to have

• Background in consumer finance, specifically brokerage or trading platforms.
