Salary: $150,000–$240,000 + Equity

hirify.global is an early-stage fintech company building critical financial infrastructure for banks and credit unions across the United States.

What you will do

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team through active coaching and performance management.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of features from architecture and design to implementation and launch.
  • Partner with product and leadership to define scope, align on priorities, and ensure reliable execution.
  • Own the code quality by reviewing pull requests and actively participating in technical implementation.
  • Establish and refine engineering best practices, development tools, and scalable processes.
  • Support hiring and onboarding efforts to grow the engineering organization.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • 2+ years in an engineering leadership or technical lead role.
  • Must be based in or able to work on-site in New York.
  • Deep technical foundation in system design, architecture, and debugging across the stack.
  • Proven ability to lead teams through ambiguity and complex technical challenges.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business requirements.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech, banking, or highly regulated financial environments.
  • Direct experience scaling an engineering organization from a single team into multiple squads.
