What you will do

• Manage an interdisciplinary team focused on safety analysis, core performance, shielding, and instrumentation.
• Hire, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of nuclear engineers.
• Own end-to-end nuclear engineering projects from requirements to regulatory deliverables.
• Collaborate with regulatory teams on industry standards and engineering requirements.
• Develop and manage simulation pipelines for nuclear design and iteration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of nuclear engineering industry experience.
• Proficiency with MCNP and/or OpenMC software.
• Deep knowledge of neutron transport and Monte Carlo simulation theory.
• 1+ year of experience managing direct reports.
• Must be able to comply with U.S. export controls; no visa sponsorship available.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD in nuclear engineering.
• Subject matter expertise in safety analysis, shielding, I&C, or reactor operations.
• Hands-on experience with hardware design or testing.
• Experience with High-Performance Computing.
