What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of 8-10 Electrical NPI Engineers.
• Drive new PCA designs by identifying and resolving DFM issues for SMT and system integration.
• Optimize manufacturing processes for complex, high-layer count PCBs and large BGA components.
• Oversee process validation, troubleshooting, and failure analysis using 8D methodology.
• Manage ECOs and version control within PLM systems like Propel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contract manufacturers to improve yields and scalability.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in NPI engineering, specifically with Advanced SMT and High Layer Count PCB assembly (30+ layers).
• Proven experience with PLM systems (Agile, Propel) and ECO/MCO/DEV/PCN processes.
• Strong background in circuit debugging, failure analysis, and root cause identification.
• Excellent leadership and cross-functional communication skills.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience leading an electrical NPI manufacturing team.
• Experience with large form-factor BGA components and liquid-cooled products.
• Knowledge of data center equipment lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in reviewing PCB layout files in Allegro.
