TL;DR

Vp, People Business Partners & Talent Development (AI): Overseeing the People Business Partner (PBP) team and the Learning & Development (L&D) team to ensure a human and high-performing culture is embedded throughout the employee experience with an accent on talent density strategy. Focus on executive succession & org design, the future of learning, and global scaling.

Location: Hybrid work environment, with expectation for local hirify.globalns (Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Dublin and Sydney) to be in office minimum twice per week.

Salary: $209,400 to $389,000 CAD. In addition, this role is eligible for variable pay that is based on company performance, with actual payout amounts calculated and paid on a quarterly basis.

What you will do

  • Unify the PBP and L&D functions so that performance gaps identified by PBPs are solved by targeted, agile learning interventions from the L&D team.
  • Lead the strategy for how we identify, develop, and transition our top leadership talent to meet the needs of a multi-product, global SaaS company.
  • Oversee the transition to an AI-augmented learning environment, personalizing growth paths for hirify.globalns at scale.
  • Refine our performance management philosophy, moving us toward a model of continuous feedback and transparent career mobility.
  • Ensure our people strategy remains cohesive across different time zones, cultures, and legal jurisdictions as we expand globally.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of People Leadership experience leading high-growth People teams, with a deep background in both the Business Partner and Learning/Talent Development worlds.
  • SaaS Savvy: Understand the metrics of a successful software business (ARR, Churn, LTV) and how talent strategy directly impacts those levers.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale organizational shifts, including M&A integrations or major department re-orgs.
  • Executive Presence: The ability to influence, challenge, and support a high-velocity executive team.
  • Experience building internal people programs with the same rigor and iteration as a customer-facing software product.
  • Bias for action and fostering high performing teams.
