Location: Based in Burbank, CA with Monday-Thursday being onsite and Friday remote. Occasional travel to San Diego, CA or Everett, WA may be required.

Salary: $105,000 - $130,000 annually

What you will do

• Serve as a strategic business partner to executive leadership, aligning People & Culture strategies with business priorities.
• Act as the primary People & Culture representative for the Burbank & San Diego offices, supporting employees and ensuring alignment with company policies.
• Coach and advise leaders on employee relations, performance management, and team effectiveness.
• Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategies.
• Lead and support organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective planning and communication.
• Conduct and manage employee relations investigations, recommending and implementing appropriate resolutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive HR/People & Culture experience, including expertise in employee relations, coaching, performance management, and HR compliance.
• 5+ years in an HR Business Partner role, preferably in consumer goods, licensing, retail, entertainment, or high-tech.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law, with a focus on California employment regulations.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and translate business strategy into People & Culture solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
