Director, People Partner

Location: Hybrid in Houston, TX or Boston, MA; relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates relocating to Houston. Approximately 10% travel in the US and internationally is required.

Salary: $157,620–$210,000 USD base salary, plus variable incentive pay, flexible work options, and benefits.

What you will do

• Provide hands-on People Partner support to Operations and Services teams.
• Advise leaders and employees on performance management, talent assessments, career development, and compensation planning.
• Lead and guide a small team of regional People Partners.
• Partner with leadership on growth, organizational change, talent development, and workforce effectiveness.
• Improve HR processes by identifying bottlenecks, scaling operations, and enhancing service quality.
• Participate in US and international strategy meetings requiring approximately 10% travel.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in HR roles involving performance management, career development, talent assessment, and HR operations.
• Experience leading a team of HR professionals.
• Ability to provide compensation benchmarking and analytics support.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, customer service, and cross-functional partnership skills.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement in Houston or Boston and travel approximately 10%.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with Workday.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Experience researching and implementing innovative People processes and programs.
