Principal Consultant - Senior Business Analyst (Fintech): Supporting the analysis, design, and implementation of technology-driven solutions for government agencies with an accent on gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and ensuring successful solution adoption. Focus on optimizing workflows for government services and citizen engagement, system integration, and cloud-based platform adoption.

Location: New York City. Hybrid (2-3 days in-office per week or as per business needs)

Salary: $120K Gross - $150K Gross (includes base+bonuses), depending on skills and years of experience.

What you will do

• Engage stakeholders to understand and document business needs.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Optimize workflows for government services and citizen engagement.
• Collaborate on system integration and cloud-based platform adoption.
• Develop and execute test cases and UAT plans.
• Conduct training and support system adoption.

Requirements

• 10+ years as a Business Consultant, 3+ years in public sector.
• Experience with digital transformation and enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Understanding of FedRAMP, FISMA, HIPAA, CJIS regulations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.

Nice to have

• CBAP or PMI-PBA certification.
• CSM or PMP certification.
