Salary: $133,500 - $212,000

What you will do

• Own the product backend with a high degree of autonomy.
• Architect and develop solutions to scale a complex platform reaching millions of users.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and design teams to build new features.
• Provide technical direction and guide engineering standards across the organization.
• Improve engineering processes, tooling, and overall efficiency.
• Mentor and guide other team members.

Requirements

• Industry experience building production-ready, scalable web applications.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, ideally Scala or Java.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and/or Postgres and data pipeline systems.
• Ability to facilitate cross-functional discussions within the team.
• Passion for continuous learning and team improvement.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale performance testing.
• Experience with data processing and advanced methodologies.
• Knowledge of functional programming and the JVM.
• Experience using AI IDEs or workflows.
