What you will do

• Collaborate with product managers and architects to design and implement scalable platform capabilities.
• Develop and maintain high-performance backend services for low-latency decisioning and analytics.
• Improve engineering practices to enhance system efficiency, reliability, and serviceability.
• Coach and mentor other software engineers while fostering a collaborative learning culture.
• Design and implement functional and non-functional tests in collaboration with QA engineers.
• Support cloud and on-premises implementations of the platform.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Significant expertise in Java and Spring with modern design patterns.
• Experience building and operating commercial software executing in low milliseconds at 10K+ TPS.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and public/private cloud deployment models.
• Experience with stream processing platforms such as Kafka, Flink, or Spark Streaming.
• Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, and enterprise database technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Google, Azure).
• Familiarity with Cassandra, Zookeeper, Kustomize, or OpenSearch.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Angular, Python, and generative AI tools.
