Business Development Specialist

TL;DR

Business Development Specialist: Overseeing lead flow, ensuring timely follow-ups, and maintaining CRM accuracy with an accent on making sure no opportunity is missed and that all sales activities are properly tracked and executed. Focus on improving lead handling and conversion, pipeline performance and response times.

Location: 100% Remote outside of Canada. Must be able to work standard business hours on Pacific Time.

What you will do

• Monitor outbound and inbound conversations to ensure prompt responses.
• Ensure leads are followed up on and moved through the pipeline efficiently.
• Audit CRM deals to confirm accurate updates, notes, and activity tracking.
• Maintain CRM hygiene by ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
• Flag bottlenecks, missed opportunities, and process gaps within the pipeline.
• Create and share regular reports on pipeline performance and response times.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, pipeline management, SDR/BDR or sales support roles, or CRM administration, including experience in SaaS or B2B sales environments.
• Hands-on experience with Pipedrive (or similar CRM systems).
• Familiarity with outbound tools.
• Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
