What you will do

• Own end-to-end monthly payroll processing for Malaysia and assigned regional markets, validating all payroll inputs.
• Manage statutory submissions and compliance, ensuring alignment with local labor laws and regulatory requirements.
• Perform rigorous payroll checks, reconciliations, and validations prior to payout to maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Process salary adjustments, promotions, bonuses, and ad-hoc payments with high accuracy.
• Coordinate with payroll vendors, regional partners, and EOR providers to resolve discrepancies and enforce SLAs.
• Identify inefficiencies in payroll workflows and support improvements in SOPs and HRIS integration.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States
• Experience in payroll operations, preferably with multi-country or regional payroll exposure.
• Deep understanding of Malaysian payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Hands-on proficiency with payroll systems, HRIS tools, and advanced spreadsheet software.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professional integrity.
