Location: Hybrid role, must be based in or able to work from Phoenix, AZ (2-3 days per week in-office)

What you will do
- Manage end-to-end US onboarding and offboarding operations within Workday.
- Govern the global contingent workforce lifecycle, including contractor compliance and classification risk management.
- Lead payroll audit validations and implement maker-checker controls for compensation data.
- Maintain core HCM data integrity and validate integrations between HRIS, Finance, and IT systems.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities using AI tools to streamline ticketing and reporting workflows.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Systems, or People Operations.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Core HCM is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of US compliance regulations (I-9, EEO-1, audit controls).
- Experience working with payroll teams and compensation workflows.
- Proficiency with ticketing systems like Jira and strong data analysis skills.
- Proven ability to integrate AI tools into daily workflows to increase productivity.
Nice to have
- Experience in high-growth or pre-IPO companies.
- Background in building or improving payroll governance frameworks and SOPs.
- Cross-functional experience across HRIS, Finance, and IT.
