What you will do
- Develop and execute pipeline generation strategies to secure new enterprise business within the public sector.
- Own and manage assigned territory account planning, forecasting, and lead-to-closure workflows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment with client needs.
- Represent the company professionally while maintaining high-level relationships with senior government executives.
- Document and track buying criteria, processes, and sales motions accurately.
- Travel to customer sites as required to support sales objectives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in selling enterprise software with a strong network in the public sector or government domain.
- Proven track record of success in selling to senior-level executives across multiple government departments.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while managing a sales territory.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
