What you will do
- Generate new business revenue for FHA via booth, sponsorship/advertisement, and fully integrated packages across products and revenue streams.
- Source leads and close sales through customer relationship development, cold calling, industry event attendance, and market searching.
- Develop business development strategies with Event Directors to target new market sectors and regions, including market analysis and opportunity assessment.
- Collaborate with Exhibitor Marketing to create attraction campaigns that drive business development opportunities.
- Support on-site re-booking and manage newly acquired customers through their first show cycle, coordinating with Marketing/Brand/Event Operations as needed.
- Maintain sales pipeline and data quality in Salesforce, including contract information capture and sharing customer requirements with Sales Operations and event teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent business qualification).
- 5–8 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in new business development.
- Proven B2B sales experience delivering revenue targets and managing relationships with international customers across regions and cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close sales, negotiate effectively, and handle customer objections.
- Ability to develop relationships at senior levels and manage high-value accounts, including cross-/up-selling.
- Required travel of approximately 40%.
