Location: Hybrid (must be based in Philadelphia, PA; 8 days per month in office required)
Compensation: $98,500 – $172,700 USD + Bonus

What you will do
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for a diverse portfolio of scholarly journals.
- Serve as the primary liaison and account manager for medical society partners to ensure mutual goals are achieved.
- Coordinate multi-channel campaigns including email, content, SEO, and social media to drive journal visibility and engagement.
- Manage promotional budgets and campaign calendars to ensure maximum ROI and efficient resource allocation.
- Analyze marketing metrics such as submission volumes and usage trends to provide data-driven reporting to stakeholders.
- Represent journals at medical conferences to build brand awareness and engage directly with the scientific community.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, marketing management, or related roles.
- Must be based in Philadelphia, PA or able to commute for office requirements.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Strong account management experience, ideally working with professional societies or clients.
- Proficiency with marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Marketo.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience in scholarly or academic publishing.
- Familiarity with Open Access publishing models and peer-review processes.
- Knowledge of applying emerging technologies, including AI, to marketing workflows.
