What you will do

• Lead and manage the subcontracting function across all business units (DoD and federal civilian programs).
• Oversee the full subcontract lifecycle: intake, solicitation, negotiation, award, administration, and closeout.
• Lead development, execution, and monitoring of Small Business Subcontracting Plans.
• Provide guidance on subcontracting strategy, workshare, and compliance requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small, high-performing subcontracting team.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Contract Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in federal subcontracting or procurement, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and subcontracting compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting or leading CPSR audits and audit readiness efforts.
• Strong working knowledge of small business subcontracting plans and ISR/SSR reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience in a mid-size or high-growth government contractor environment.
• Familiarity with Costpoint, Smartsheet, SharePoint, Cognos, or similar systems.
• Professional certifications such as CPCM, CFCM, or equivalent.
• Experience working in the defense or national security sector with an understanding of its unique compliance and operational challenges.
