What you will do

• Lead, develop, and grow a team of engineers while maintaining a technical role in architecture and implementation.
• Partner with product and design to define objectives, scoping, and delivery timelines.
• Drive thoughtful decision-making around system design, code quality, observability, and scalability.
• Foster a high-performing engineering pod with strong technical ownership.
• Contribute directly to architectural decisions and core system design.
• Collaborate across functions to solve meaningful, data-driven problems in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with modern full-stack technologies.
• 2+ years of experience leading and developing engineering teams in a scaling environment.
• Proficient with React, Typescript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, or similar modern stacks.
• Excited to stay hands-on with code and technical execution.
• Can balance people leadership with technical depth, delivery focus, and clarity in ambiguous contexts.
• Passionate about building impactful products in an early-stage, mission-driven company.

• Comfort with AI workflows and building AI products.
• Startup or Scale Up experience.
• Interviewing familiarity.
