Director of Strategic Accounts (SaaS): Leading and scaling a team of Strategic Account Executives to drive ARR growth within the top tier of higher education institutions with an accent on sales strategy, pipeline development, and rep coaching. Focus on refining prospecting techniques, managing forecast accuracy, and fostering collaborative cross-functional relationships to maximize full-funnel performance.

Location: Must be based in the United States; remote-first role with required travel (30-35%) and attendance at periodic company onsites.

What you will do

  • Lead, recruit, and mentor a team of 4-6 Account Executives.
  • Drive individual and team ARR goals through effective strategic deal reviews and account planning.
  • Coach reps on prospecting, deal development, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Manage team forecast accuracy and enforce high-quality data hygiene.
  • Partner with Marketing and Enablement teams to optimize performance across the sales funnel.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the U.S.
  • 8+ years of SaaS software experience.
  • 3+ years of direct SaaS sales management experience.
  • Proven background in full-cycle sales and installed base sales.
  • Ability to travel 30-35% of the time for in-person collaboration.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a startup environment without rigid processes.
  • Deep knowledge of fundraising, development, or peer-to-peer engagement at educational institutions.
  • Background in volunteer fundraising or committee leadership.
