What you will do
- Provide primary support for lab IT infrastructure, resolving incidents within SLA guidelines.
- Perform onsite troubleshooting of computer systems, networks, and lab hardware.
- Install, configure, and manage lab-related software, licenses, and workstations.
- Record and track events and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Assist with endpoint provisioning and hardware upgrades while following change control practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in an IT Support or Help Desk role.
- Must be able to work onsite in Brisbane, California, Monday through Saturday.
- Experience with Windows 10/11 platforms and Entra ID.
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools like Jamf or Manage Engine.
- Physical ability to lift hardware and navigate laboratory layouts.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical staff.
Nice to have
- Experience working in a regulated lab environment such as CLIA, FDA, or HIPAA.
- Industry certifications like ITIL, CompTIA A+, or Microsoft Certified Professional.
- Basic networking knowledge and Active Directory experience.
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
