What you will do

  • Provide primary support for lab IT infrastructure, resolving incidents within SLA guidelines.
  • Perform onsite troubleshooting of computer systems, networks, and lab hardware.
  • Install, configure, and manage lab-related software, licenses, and workstations.
  • Record and track events and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Assist with endpoint provisioning and hardware upgrades while following change control practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in an IT Support or Help Desk role.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Brisbane, California, Monday through Saturday.
  • Experience with Windows 10/11 platforms and Entra ID.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools like Jamf or Manage Engine.
  • Physical ability to lift hardware and navigate laboratory layouts.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical staff.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in a regulated lab environment such as CLIA, FDA, or HIPAA.
  • Industry certifications like ITIL, CompTIA A+, or Microsoft Certified Professional.
  • Basic networking knowledge and Active Directory experience.
  • Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
