Salary: $31.67–$49.52 per hour

What you will do

• Apply hands-on knowledge of molecular biology and nucleic-acid biochemistry to optimize NGS-based methods.
• Execute experiments to characterize and transition prototypes into high-throughput automated assays.
• Perform data analysis and visualization to troubleshoot workflow issues and identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Automation, Computation Science, and Laboratory Operations.
• Generate technical reports and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for process transfer.
• Maintain detailed experimental records in strict compliance with cGLP and cGDP standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Onsite availability at Brisbane, California headquarters.
• Hands-on experience with NGS techniques including nucleic acid extraction and library preparation.
• Experience handling plasma and cfDNA in low-volume, plate-based assay formats.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root-cause analysis on complex workflows.
