Laboratory Manager

Salary: $79,300 - $105,600 USD

What you will do

• Oversee Avon and Avon Lake laboratories to support sales and facility operations effectively.
• Communicate with transportation teams and participate in KPI, leadership, and customer meetings.
• Uphold compliance through analytical support, construct and report KPIs, create SOPs.
• Manage lab instrumentation, footprints, and provide performance reports.
• Lead safety meetings, enforce training, promote zero-incident culture, maintain certifications like IATA, HAZWOPER, HAZMAT.
• Hire, develop talent, manage performance, foster cross-site coverage and career growth.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s in science-related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years in process or industrial laboratory environment.
• Ability to multitask, strong communication, work with lab equipment, develop staff, resolve conflict.
• Model hirify.global Values; physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, wear PPE and respirator, work in humid/vibrating conditions near machinery.
