TL;DR

Sales Specialist (Cloud Platform): Managing and expanding the customer portfolio for IaaS solutions in the German-speaking part of Switzerland with an accent on lead generation, relationship building, and strategic up-selling. Focus on translating complex cloud technologies into business value for SME and Enterprise clients and driving sales projects to maturity through cross-team collaboration.

Location: Must be based in the German-speaking part of Switzerland or willing to travel to Zurich/other locations as needed

What you will do

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing and prospective IaaS cloud customers.
  • Develop strong relationships with business partners and maintain high trust with clients.
  • Implement up-selling strategies to expand existing customer accounts.
  • Generate new leads using various online and offline mechanisms.
  • Lead sales projects in collaboration with pre-sales and marketing specialist departments.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in selling IaaS, PaaS, Kubernetes, or DevOps solutions.
  • Strong existing sales network in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
  • Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken).
  • Expertise in the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to closing.
  • Experience in both direct and indirect sales channels.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client visits and industry events.

Nice to have

  • Background in software or SaaS industries.
  • Experience responding to public tenders.
