Salary: $149,578–$219,381 (US) / $120,500–$170,500 (Canada)

What you will do
- Own availability architecture across compute, network, storage, and app tiers to maintain 99.9% uptime.
- Design fault domains, graceful degradation strategies, and recovery models to minimize blast radius.
- Drive infrastructure-as-code and GitOps practices to ensure consistent, scalable deployment patterns.
- Define performance budgets, SLOs, and capacity planning metrics to inform system reliability.
- Collaborate with Engineering and CloudOps teams to troubleshoot and remediate production issues.
- Act as the technical authority, providing reference architectures and guidance to improve developer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience as a Platform, Solutions, or System Design Architect or Senior DevOps Engineer.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and service-to-service communication patterns.
- Strong knowledge of system design principles: fault tolerance, capacity planning, and dependency isolation.
- Experience leading technical design reviews and cross-team architectural initiatives.
- Must be authorized to work and currently based in the US or Canada.
