Forward Deployed Engineering Intern (AI)

Location: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid)

Salary: CAD $30–50 per hour

What you will do

• Develop and configure AI agents using platform tools.
• Build and test integrations between AI agents, APIs, external systems, and data sources.
• Support performance tuning and troubleshoot AI-agent prototypes.
• Work with customers and engineering teams to understand requirements and iterate on solutions.
• Participate in demos, feedback sessions, and technical learning activities.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience writing code in Python or another general-purpose programming language.
• Basic understanding of programming fundamentals and software development best practices.
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or software engineering.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate with teammates and customers.

Nice to have

• Experience with APIs, web development, or cloud platforms.
• Coursework or projects involving AI, machine learning, or LLM concepts.
• Exposure to prompt engineering or similar experimentation.
