Account Executive (SaaS): Managing a mid-market book of business for ClearanceJobs by acquiring new clients and re-engaging inactive accounts within the government and defense contracting sector with an accent on consultative sales, discovery, and demonstration of recruiting solutions. Location: Must reside in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area and be able to work from the office 3 days per week (Tuesday-Thursday).

Salary: $100,000 – $160,000 (Base salary plus commissions).

What you will do

  • Acquire net new clients and re-engage inactive accounts within the mid-market segment.
  • Conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations to match client needs with security-cleared personnel solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to build a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Maintain high productivity and data hygiene within Salesforce, SalesLoft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Meet and exceed aggressive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
  • Stay current on competitive intelligence and refine talk tracks to handle common client objections.

Requirements

  • Must reside in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area.
  • Willingness to attend Company Events in the DC region.
  • Recent experience building, selling, and managing an individual book of accounts.
  • Proven expertise in Salesforce, SalesLoft/Outreach, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on organization and time management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling into the Federal government space (agencies, military, defense).
  • Previous experience in SaaS sales.
