TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Upstate NY (Buffalo area) with 70-80% travel required

What you will do

  • Build and grow the merchant network by prospecting, pitching, and closing new businesses in the assigned territory.
  • Lead with a field-first approach by visiting prospective merchants daily and attending local community events.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and drop-ins to negotiation and contract closure.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly acquisition quotas and pipeline conversion targets.
  • Act as a local market expert to identify untapped opportunities and align offerings with customer demand.
  • Maintain a disciplined pipeline and track key performance metrics in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of outbound field sales experience with strong inside sales skills.
  • Expertise in full-cycle sales methodology and conversion optimization.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas and OKRs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel 70–80% of the time, including day trips and extended regional travel.
  • Strong B2B negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Microsoft Office Suite.
