TL;DR

Location: Remote; New York

Salary: OTE $110,000 + meaningful equity

What you will do

  • Own outbound prospecting into target school districts (calls, email, LinkedIn, and creative channels).
  • Build and execute account-based strategies to engage multiple stakeholders across complex organizations.
  • Identify and connect with key decision-makers and influencers (superintendents, curriculum leaders, tech leaders, etc.).
  • Craft highly personalized messaging that clearly communicates Kira’s value.
  • Generate qualified pipeline by booking high-quality meetings for Account Executives.
  • Partner closely with AEs to prioritize accounts, share insights, and iterate on outreach strategy.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in BDR, SDR (outbound-heavy), or similar prospecting role (SaaS preferred).
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound efforts.
  • Strong research and prospecting skills - you know how to navigate complex orgs and find the right people.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication - clear, concise, and tailored.
  • High agency and ownership - you don’t wait for direction, you create momentum.
  • Resilient and comfortable with rejection in a cold outbound environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling into K-12 education or public sector.
  • Experience with enterprise or multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Apollo, or similar.
  • Interest in or exposure to AI / edtech.
