TL;DR

Lead Product Manager (Fintech): Building and scaling a card issuing platform from 0→1 with an accent on payments infrastructure, card program management, and complex banking integrations. Location: Preference for candidates who can work hybrid in our NYC office.

Salary: $175,000–$225,000

What you will do

• Own the 0→1 development and launch of the card issuing program, including physical and virtual cards.
• Define and execute the product roadmap, coordinating with issuing banks, processors, and networks like Visa/Mastercard.
• Lead core functionality development including tokenization, authorization flows, controls, and dispute handling.
• Partner with engineering, compliance, and risk teams to design reliable and compliant payment flows.
• Monitor and optimize card performance metrics, including authorization rates, fraud levels, and operational reliability.
• Translate complex payments infrastructure into simple, trusted consumer experiences.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Product Management experience with significant time in fintech or payments.
• Proven track record of launching or scaling a card issuing program from 0→1.
• Deep familiarity with card issuing infrastructure, including banks, processors, and network integrations.
• Strong understanding of authorization flows, transaction lifecycles, and card controls.
• Experience working in fast-moving startup environments with high ownership and ambiguity.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, compliance, and external partners.

Nice to have

• Experience with crypto products, wallets, or digital asset platforms.
• Prior work in neobanking, embedded finance, or modern fintech infrastructure.
• Experience integrating with mobile wallets like Apple Pay or Google Pay.
• Familiarity with BIN sponsorship and card program compliance.
