Location: Preference for hybrid in NYC office, but remote within the US is accepted.

What you will do

• Own the banking partnership strategy and execute the sourcing, negotiation, and onboarding of financial institution partners.
• Manage the end-to-end partner lifecycle, from initial diligence to long-term relationship maintenance.
• Coordinate with product, engineering, compliance, and legal teams to integrate new payment rails and financial capabilities.
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with sponsor banks, payment networks, and financial institutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve global payment performance, geographic coverage, and cost efficiency.
• Develop scalable internal frameworks and processes for managing high-growth partnership infrastructure.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in fintech, payments, or financial services partnerships.
• Deep understanding of payment rails, sponsor banking models, acquiring, issuing, and banking-as-a-service.
• Strong background in negotiating complex commercial and operational agreements.
• Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments in fintech.
• Experience working cross-functionally with product, compliance, and legal teams.
• Must be comfortable working in a high-growth startup environment.
