What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow engineering squads and engineering managers.
• Define strategy, set priorities, and align roadmaps with product and business stakeholders.
• Foster a high-performance culture by driving excellence in software design, security, and risk management.
• Oversee delivery processes to ensure productivity and technical excellence in high-volume trading environments.
• Identify and nurture high-performing talent while managing performance and succession planning.
• Balance feature delivery with technical debt reduction to maximize long-term customer value.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in engineering management, including 2+ years of managing managers.
• Strong background in trading or investment platforms.
• Proven ability to scale engineering teams and handle mission-critical, high-throughput systems.
• Deep technical expertise in software architecture and modern development practices (DevOps).
• Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating across distributed, multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to provide hands-on technical guidance in complex situations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, gRPC, microservices, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with Shape Up or similar fixed-cycle product methodologies.
• Experience developing user-facing products for web or mobile.
• Deep interest in the crypto ecosystem.
